SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo
Join us at the SOT’s 62nd Annual Meeting and ToxExpo, featuring world-class toxicology alongside networking and social opportunities. Toxys will be present on-site with a booth (#515) and we are looking forward to meeting you and answering all of your questions regarding our unique NAMs.
Toxys Workshop at SOT 2023 (ancillary meeting)
You are cordially invited to join the Toxys workshop and social event during the SOT 2023 meeting in Nashville. The workshop provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the unique in vitro assays for genotoxicity, developmental toxicity and mechanistic toxicity testing that Toxys offers. We will update you on the latest developments around ToxTracker, ReproTracker and ToxProfiler and its applications. We have invited a few users of our assays to share their experiences. You will get the opportunity to ask questions about the assays and meet up with your colleagues while enjoying a drink and snacks.
Presentations:
- Giel Hendriks, Toxys: Short overview and updates for ToxTracker, ReproTracker and ToxProfiler.
- Stephanie Kellum, Corteva Agriscience: ToxTracker: exploring early-stage screening of agricultural analogs.
- Thomas Steger-Hartmann, Bayer Pharmaceuticals: ITLF evaluation of the ToxProfiler assay for early safety assessment of pharmaceutical compounds.
- Heeteak Kang, LyondellBasell: Application of the ReproTracker assays for developmental toxicity assessment of chemicals.
When: 21 March at 5.00 – 7.00 pm
Where: Hilton Nashville Downtown – Room Bredesen (4th Ave S).
Exhibitor Hosted Session
You are also invited to join us at a speciality session that we will host together with the Institute for In Vitro Sciences (IIVS) on the regulatory acceptance of ToxTracker during the SOT 2023 meeting in Nashville.
In this session, we will:
- Address the process and the typical timeline for emerging technologies to be accepted at the OECD
- Provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the ToxTracker reporter assay for cancer hazard assessment
- Update you on the latest developments around the validation study for ToxTracker
- Elaborate on the extended availability of ToxTracker and integration with the Good In Vitro Methods Practices (GIVMP) principles
Presenters
- Giel Hendriks, Toxys
- Hans Raabe, IIVS
When: 21 March 1.30 – 2.30
Where: Room 101D, Music City Centre
