ToxTracker is a unique in vitro genotoxicity assay that combines multiple biomarkers to get mechanistic insight into the MOA of genotoxic compounds. The assay includes markers for DNA damage as predictors for the standard genotoxicity assays but also includes markers for non-genotoxic MOA, including oxidative stress, protein misfolding and general cellular stress. OECD accepted ToxTracker into the test guideline program.

During today’s webinar, our guest speakers will share use cases for the assay. ToxTracker was applied to testing medical devices and data was submitted. Dr. Claudia Cusan will share how the data was useful in decision making and filing of the compound. Then, Dr. Giulia Martina Sitzia will share how ToxTracker was used in testing large molecule dyes. This class of compounds suffers from incompatibility with some of the standard genotoxicity assays. ToxTracker was useful in assessing false positives in the Ames test.

During this webinar, you will learn:

  • How the ToxTracker reporter assay works and is utilized in different industries
  • Insights in how ToxTracker helped fast and accurate decision making in different use cases
  • How ToxTracker data has been used for internal decision making and in regulatory files
