Earlier this year, we introduced the ToxProfiler assay, a unique New Approach Method (NAM) that provides toxic mechanistic insight into novel medicines, (agro)chemicals, cosmetics and food ingredients. ToxProfiler is a human cell reporter assay that can accurately quantify the cellular stress responses induced by chemicals. ToxProfiler generates a toxicological fingerprint for each compound, representing the cellular stress responses activated upon exposure.
ToxProfiler can be applied for broad toxicity profiling of compounds. ToxProfiler is particularly applicable for early chemical safety testing by providing insight into the mode-of-action (MoA) of toxic compounds, as well as read-across, adverse outcome pathway (AOP) and weight-of-evidence (WoE) approaches.
Interested in learning more about ToxProfiler? We will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, April 8 2021 at 4.00 PM CET, to answer all your questions regarding ToxProfiler. Please save the date and stay tuned for more details via our website and LinkedIn.
SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo 2021
We are very excited to participate in the next SOT meeting. There are many ways in which you can connect with us during this online event:
We will be live and available for any questions you might have at the Toxys booth during the ToxExpo hours between 8.30 – 10.00 AM and 4.00 – 5.30 PM ET.
Toxys strengthens its management team with the addition of CSO
We welcome Torben Osterlund as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to the Toxys team. Torben brings scientific expertise about safety assessment and in vitro assay development and experience in drug development within big pharma to Toxys.
“I am very excited and proud about the appointment of Torben as Chief Scientific Officer at Toxys. Torben has experience in drug development within big pharma, assay development in small biotech and providing services as a CRO. He shares our spirit of innovation and will lead the scientific developments at Toxys and will further enable the intended growth of Toxys.” - Giel Hendriks, CEO of Toxys BV.
Get in contact
Due to COVID-19, meetings in person have become difficult. We are very happy to instead schedule a call or TC's to tell you more about our technologies and services and to hear about your approach and needs in in vitro toxicology. You can also find us at the following meetings:
