ReproTracker Webinar: introducing our novel in vitro developmental toxicity assay

On the 3rd of September, we hosted a webinar introducing ReproTracker, our novel in vitro developmental toxicity assay. Dr. Giel Hendriks, CEO of Toxys and Sabine Hartvelt, Junior Scientist at Toxys, discussed the challenges in reproductive toxicology and why ReproTracker was developed, along with its protocol, results for teratogens and non-teratogens, the assay’s validation and applications for screening of compounds.

About ReproTracker

ReproTracker® is a state-of-the-art in vitro assay to visualise the key events during early embryonic development that allows for a reliable assessment of developmental toxicity hazards of new drugs and chemicals. It is a human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-based assay that assesses key events by morphological profiling and measuring biomarker expression during stem cell differentiation. The assay is able to identify compounds that interfere with early embryonic development.
